In order to use the Flex6300 with N1MM+ you have to understand how the radio interacts with your computer. This is all controlled via the SmartSDR CAT application. You simply add COM ports in the CAT program and then match them to the corresponding config in N1MM+. ===You can have dozens of COM ports that run several programs at once. After I understood this it was a lot easier setting up CAT control, PTT via the software and the Winkeyer.

First create a CAT port in SmartSDR CAT like so:

Next create a PTT port in SmartSDR CAT like so:

Then create a WinKeyer port in SmartSDR CAT like so:

Now open N1MM+ Logger and go to Config > Configure Ports, Mode Control, Audio, Other. Set your corresponding COM ports into N1MM+ for your CAT, PTT and WinKeyer in that order.

On the topmost Port, click the Set button under Details and use the following values and click OK

On the second Port, click the Set button under Details and use the following values and click OK

On the third Port, click the Set button under Details and use the following values and click OK

Now check your SmartSDR CAT Application and you should see Process: N1MMLogger next to each of the three ports you configured

Congratulations! Now you have control of your radio via N1MM+ Logger and can do cool things like PTT via N1MM+ and use the WinKeyer to key CW from the comfort of your computer keyboard.
